MALA owner Lauren Wise first opened her boutique in 2011, aiming to curate a collection of contemporary brands for stylish women and kids.

The 2014 launch of MALA Go-tique mobile fashion truck saw Lauren bringing her unique vision to Toronto’s streets, parks, and events. MALA Go-tique is set to revolutionize the way people shop, taking fashion to the next level in the city.

The name MALA reflects the shop’s cool, contemporary style; for Lauren, MALA epitomized the approach to fashion she was looking to champion in her boutique.

“My clients want stylish pieces that they can wear throughout their active, busy lifestyles. I look for clothes that women and their kids can toss on in the morning. They should feel chic when they’re running out the door,” says Lauren. “It’s that sense of effortlessness that really makes my MALA regulars shine.”
